Your message, delivered with sustainability impact

Whatever your potential publication or business plan, there’s a Magno paper for your next print job.

Sustainable

But did you know that your print jobs can become more sustainable simply by choosing to use a paper from our Magno range?

At Sappi, we are decarbonising our business, with a science-based target to reduce our carbon emissions by 41.5% per ton of product by 2030 – and a range of sustainability investments already bearing fruit.

What do Magno’s sustainability credentials mean to you?

We have stringent measures in place to ensure our supply chains are deforestation-free – meaning your customers can be sure they are using a truly renewable resource.

Made from renewable raw materials, all our papers are produced at European mills that are certified against PEFC (PEFC/07-32-76) and FSC™ (FSC-C015022) Chain of Custody standards. Sappi Europe has been awarded with the platinum medal by EcoVadis (global business sustainability assessment) – putting us in the top 1% among all rated companies.

As part of Sappi’s Decarbonisation Roadmap, we are implementing big changes at three of the mills where Magno is produced – meaning your customers can lower their own carbon footprint just by using Magno.

Gratkorn Mill, Austria

Modernisation of the boilers at the Gratkorn mill in Austria has already reduced the carbon footprint of the mill by 30%, with the use of biomass residues for energy also boosting its use of renewable energy to levels above 56%.

Maastricht Mill, Netherlands

In the Netherlands, at our Maastricht mill, both direct and indirect greenhouse gas emissions are set to reduce (14% by 2026 and 30% by 2030) thanks to the building of two new e-boilers.
