EBB and Sappi confirm enhanced partnership
The positive development means a new brand name and improved availability across the UK
Sappi Europe and Elliott Baxter & Company have agreed to change the name of the UK’s market-leading woodfree coated fine paper to bring it into line with the global brand family of which it is a key member.
From June 2022, the paper that was formerly known as Sappi Galerie Art will be sold by EBB as Sappi Magno. Please note that there is no change in the product itself, purely the name.
Magno is the leading global brand for coated woodfree paper, offering exceptional quality and consistency along with an unrivalled range of weights and finishes, plus worldwide distribution.
Elliott Baxter & Company is the leading family-owned, independent paper and board supplier in the UK, delivering around 200,000 tonnes of paper to customers across the country every year.
As an important part of this new arrangement, Magno Matt, Gloss and Satin papers will be stocked at strategic locations across the UK – to ensure rapid, just-in-time access to in-depth stocks for printers nationwide.
The majority of the Magno range has also recently been certified for HP Indigo digital printing, meaning that printers who produce both offset and digital can rely on the same consistent sheet standard across print technologies.
