Magno gets a big boost
An extended Magno range and increased availability are on the way in 2024
The new year will bring increased choice for Sappi’s graphic paper customers with the further extension of the market-leading Magno range of coated wood-free papers, as well as boosted levels of availability.
After last year’s increase of paper choices from seven to 10 (with the addition of three new Magno Web papers), 2024 will see the wide spectrum of available Magno weights increased further thanks to the addition of a 70 g/m² option to the Magno Natural range of quality uncoated papers.
New swatchbooks and samples are already being prepared, and these will be available to order shortly.
This continued investment in the Magno papers range comes against a backdrop of wider investment in the mills that produce the market-leading brand – and a company-wide focus on increased sustainability.
For Magno, this has meant the €35m modernisation of the boiler at Sappi’s Gratkorn mill in Austria which, since last year, has switched to the use of biomass and natural gas.
